sp-sim is a simulator for the various kinds of service processors that exist
on the management network. It exists to aid in the testing and development of
the Management Gateway Service (MGS).
Running the simulator
TODO Flesh this out once we can simulate more than just a single sidecar SP. For now, the quick and dirty instructions.
Start a simulated sidecar SP:
$ cargo run --bin sp-sim -- sp-sim/examples/sidecar.tomlStart the MGS (its config file should have an IP/port that matches
sidecar.toml above):
$ cargo run --bin gateway -- gateway/examples/config.tomlAsk MGS for the ignition state of the sole simulated sidecar SP:
$ curl -s http://127.0.0.1:12222/ignition/switch/0 | jq
